While I was eating dinner, my firearm was secured and locked in my vehicle thanks to the over the top gun laws in this country. So me, the law abiding citizen, was in the dinner and my gun was in my truck, apparently for the taking by those that think criminally. My truck, along with several other folk's vehicles, was broken in to and unfortately, this thug stole my gun. This wasn't just any gun, this was my father's service gun, who passed away 9 years ago on July 18th, 2001, killed by a drunk driver. This was a very special piece to me and it was a Glock...A GLOCK!!! Ugh! I am sharing this story with you to remind you of some housekeeping things you need to take care of, I am very glad I did!

1. Write down and safely put away all serial numbers of all firearms you own or are responsible for
2. Make sure you have insurance coverage for your firearms. If you are an NRA member, you automatically get $1000 coverage and only a $100 deductible! Not bad!
3. Call the police immediately and get a report
4. Make sure you have written down make, model and description of any accessories (scope, light, laser, etc.)

Share some of your stories and how you handled it...let's learn from one another!]]>
<![CDATA[Numbers Don't Lie!!]]>Thu, 03 Jun 2010 12:51:00 -0800http://safeactionsolutions.com/1/post/2010/06/numbers-dont-lie.html Anyone needing proof that fanaticism for gun control hasn't waned on Capitol Hill, that anti-gunners are -- as Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) put it last year -- only waiting to "pick the time," should watch the video of Mexican president Felipe Calderon's speech to Congress last week, versions of which have been posted on youtube.com. When Calderon asked that the federal "assault weapon" ban be re-imposed, a very large number of U.S. Representatives and Senators present gave him a standing ovation.

However, on Monday the FBI released crime statistics that should cause the applauding anti-gunners to sit on their hands. The statistics indicate that between 2008 and 2009, as gun sales soared, the number of murders in our country decreased 7.2 percent. That amounts to about an 8.2 percent decrease in the per capita murder rate, after the increase in our nation's legal and illegal population is taken into account. And it translates into about a 10.5 percent decrease in the murder rate between 2004, when the ban expired, and the end of 2009. And finally, it means that in 2009 our nation's murder rate fell to a 45-year low.

<![CDATA[Fcc in control of the Internet?]]>Tue, 25 May 2010 11:41:41 -0800http://safeactionsolutions.com/1/post/2010/05/fcc-in-control-of-the-internet.htmlSo I heard on the radio the other day the FCC is going through the process of trying to control the internet. They got shot down by the Supreme Court because the internet is an information source not a telecommunications company. So The FCC went back to the drawing board and decided that from now on they would refer to the internet as a telecommunications company so they can try to gain control. When a new dictator or regime takes over in third world or communist countries the first thing they try to gain control of is the media, so they control what information gets to the masses. Thoughts?( and no I didn't get my blogs mixed up this is all one, just drawing a comparison)]]><![CDATA[NO MORE NUKES!]]>Thu, 08 Apr 2010 11:57:38 -0800http://safeactionsolutions.com/1/post/2010/04/no-more-nukes.htmlSo the president signed a treaty with the Russian President today, and hopes to add the Chinese President later next week when he is in D.C. So now we have to reduce our nuclear arsenal by a third over the next 7 years, now that doesn't sound like alot, but do you think the Russians and the Chinese will actually go through with it? will this ultimately lead to dismantling our complete nuclear arsenal, and will this make us more vulnerable to terrorists or countries that have been kept at bay because we had the abilityy to level their entire country? Or just perhaps this is the first step to true world peace! I don't know for sure, but would love to hear from you!]]><![CDATA[The Passing Of Healthcare!
